Olsson admits that the capital is a real draw.
West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson was briefly linked with Arsenal this summer and has revealed that playing in London is something the Swede wants to do.
The Gunners are thought to need defensive reinforcement due to their lack of options at the back should there be an injury to either Laurent Koscielny or Per Mertesacker.
Club captain Thomas Vermaelen is out of favour, whilst Johan Djourou was loaned to Hamburger SV for the 2013/14 season.
Whilst Olsson says talk of a move to the Emirates Stadium did not affect the player, living and working in the English capital would be a real draw.
“In the window there is always a link to this and that. Sometimes it is true, sometimes you don’t hear any more, sometimes it is close, sometimes it is not,” the 30-year-old told the Mirror.
“Either way it is gone – I signed a contract last autumn and I would not have agreed a four-year deal if I was not happy. I focus on where I am and my obligation to do my very best.
“I like London, one day I would like to live there and play football but I am very happy here and if I were to leave this club, it would be for something really good.”
Olsson has been at West Brom for a little over five years since joining from Dutch side NEC Nijmegen and has since played 180 games for the Birmingham club – with a surprisingly good record of 11 goals and nine assists in that time.
