The want-away forward has only made one appearance for Arsenal in the last three years, and could now seal a permanent move away from the side.
Nicklas Bendtner could finally be leaving Arsenal, as the Daily Mail report that Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion have enquired after the striker.
Both sides have suggested a transfer fee of £3m. With Arsenal only supposedly asking for £2m for the striker, the extra funds could be in relation to the striker’s inflated wages.
Bendnter has come close to a move away from the Emirates before, but his wage demands have always proven a stumbling block. There is a possibility that should he leave for either of these two sides that Arsenal may continue to pay a portion of them until the expiration date of his current contract – June 30th 2014.
Despite frequently featuring for Arsenal in his younger years, Bendtner’s attitude and poor for has seen him gradually drift further and further away from the first team.
After a successful loan spell at Sunderland in 2011-12, Bendtner had a far less successful time at Italian champions Juventus last season, scoring no goals in his ten total appearances.
Bendtner is now thought to be looking for a permanent move away from Arsenal, with his preference being to remain in the Premier League.
