Hammers running out of time to convince Winston Reid to stay at the club.
West Ham United have just seven days to convince central defender Winston Reid to sign a new contract at Upton Park, report the Daily Star, as Arsenal continue to show an interest in signing the impressive New Zealand international who has become one of the Premier League’s most consistent defenders.

Reid is out of contract at Upton Park at the end of the season and has so far failed to sign a new deal with the club, leading to speculation that the Gunners could secure his services either on a free transfer at the end of the season or on the cheap in January.
The report quotes football agent Barry Silkman as saying that the Hammers’ last hope of keeping Reid rests on him signing a new deal in the near future.
