The Argentine forward remains a big favourite at Upton Park after his fine performances back in the 2006/07 season helped the club to an unlikely survival against relegation.
Tevez has since played for Manchester United and Manchester City before leaving England for Turin last summer, but he may now make a return to the Premier League.
The 30-year-old is supposedly set to reject a new contract from Juve, and West Ham hope they can tempt him with a move to London in their final season before moving to the Olympic Stadium.
