Reid is in the final year of his contract at Upton Park and, having lifted their player of the year award, looks set to move on to join a bigger club after consistently proving himself as a fine Premier League defender whilst with the Hammers.
Initially catching the eye during New Zealand’s stunning unbeaten campaign at the 2010 World Cup, Reid joined West Ham from Danish side FC Midtjylland just after the tournament and has become a real favourite at Upton Park.
Liverpool are keen to strengthen a defence that hasn’t really been improved by the arrival of Dejan Lovren from Southampton this summer, but both Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in the player.
