Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor appears to be on the move, as the Daily Mail reports that West Ham United are planning to strike a loan deal with Spurs.
West Ham had already previously attempted to make this sort of deal for Adebayor, but it fell through.
The Togolese international suffered injuries last season, and he only made eight Premier League appearances as a result.
He still managed two goals in his limited time with the club though, and he has scored 35 goals during his four-year stint with Spurs.
This includes 17 goals in 33 appearances during the 2011-12 season, which was the 31-year-old’s inaugural season with the team.
However, Tottenham have been eager to take the £100k-a-week striker off the clubs books.
They are even willing to pay some of Adebayor’s wages if he can leave Tottenham.
It remains to be seen whether West Ham can convince Spurs to allow the controversial attacker to leave the club on a loan deal.
West Ham are coming off a 3-0 victory over Liverpool and currently sit in eighth place in the Premier League standings.
