Hammers hope offer of regular playing time at Upton Park will be enough to entice youngster to the capital.
West Ham United are lining up an audacious bid to sign talented Manchester United midfield player Wilfried Zaha on loan next season, reports The Times.
The England international only signed for the Premier League champions from Championship outfit Crystal Palace at the turn of the year, although the 20-year-old has still to feature in a match for the Red Devils after immediately being loaned straight back to the Londoners.
However, the wide man is now a United player, although the Hammers believe that they can persuade both Zaha and his club to allow him to get valuable playing time in the Premier League at Upton Park in the upcoming campaign, rather than him simply warm the substitutes’ bench at Old Trafford.
Zaha, who has just returned from the European Under-21 championship in Israel, featured in 50 matches in all competitions for the Eagles last season, scoring eight goals, although it is far from certain that he will be a regular starter in the north west in the new campaign.
