England began on 240/7 in their 1st innings carried over from yesterday, and here’s how the action played out:
England 247/8 – Jordan 3 (c Ramdin b Taylor)
Chris Jordan was the first to fall on the second day at Bridgetown. It needed a review but the umpires decided Jordan’s bat just brushed the ball on it’s way through to Ramdin.
England 257/9 – Broad 10 (b Taylor)
Only twenty minutes later and Stuart Broad was being given his marching orders. Taylor elected to go around the wicket and absolutely pasted the stumps.
England 257 All Out – Anderson 0 (b Taylor)
And a great morning for the Windies was rounded off on the next ball, Taylor restricting the visitors to just 17 runs before smashing Anderson’s stumps out the ground.
West Indies 0/1 – Braithwate 0 (c Jordan b Anderson)
Perhaps buoyed by the form of Taylor, Anderson knew he had to step up for England and he did it almost from the off with Braithwaite going for a duck on the second ball after a teasing outwinger.
