Minson will take his place against the Giants after successfully appealing against a four-game ban for umpire contact during a VFL match last weekend.
The punishment was reduced to a reprimand and a $7,500 fine.
Minson has been out of the Bulldogs side since round three, but makes his return this weekend with Luke Beveridge’s side losing their past three games after winning four of the opening five matches of the season.
Brett Goodes and Stewart Crameri will miss the Giants clash through injury, while Michael Talia, Ayce Cordy, Lachie Hunter and Lin Jong were dropped.
Nathan Hrovat, Jack Macrae, Jarrad Grant and Lukas Webb were recalled, while former Geelong player Joel Hamling is in line to make his senior debut after being handed a spot in the 22.
