Western Bulldogs star skipper Robert Murphy to play on until 2017
The Western Bulldogs play host to the GWS Giants in what is a clash between two of the AFL’s most exciting up-and-coming teams.
GWS’ strong start to the season has continued after winning a record-breaking third match in a row after defeating Adelaide by 24 points last week.
The Giants now sit in the top four with a 6-2 record and will go in as favourites against the Bulldogs.
After a cracking start to the year, the Bulldogs have lost their past three games against St Kilda, Fremantle and Melbourne and face a tough battle against the high-flying Giants.
It will be interesting to see how Luke Beveridge’s side respond following a dismal performance against the Demons last week, while it remains to be seen if the Giants will crumble under the pressure of being favourites
