Ritchards and Tedesco, along with some flair from Tim Simona, helped the Tigers come back from an early 6-0 deficit.
Parramatta went into the lead after a smart effort from Nathan Peats close to the line.
But a try from Kevin Naiqama put the Tigers in touching distance just before half-time.
The game came alive in the second half. First, Ritchards set up Tedesco with a freakish and, somewhat weird, play.
Somehow Ritchards managed to stay in play and then had the vision to kick deftly for the fullback. Then Simona put Ritchards over the line with a brilliant, no-look flick pass.
As Ritchards was planting the ball down Will Hopoate’s forearm collided with the winger’s head. The referees awarded an eight-point penalty try, putting Wests well ahead.
It was controversial and sealed the game up for the Tigers. They added a fourth try, off another Ritchards kick, in the final stages of the match.
