Matt Lodge starts in the front row for Woods while Dene Halatau shifts to hooker to cover the absence of Farah.
Kyle Lovett starts in the second row, with Jack Buchanan, Delouise Hoeter, Brendan Santi and Joel Luani all included on an extended bench for the Tigers.
Ray Thompson starts at halfback for Thurston while Ben Hannant and Sam Hoare start in the front row.
Rory Kostjasyn, Glenn Hall and Kelepi Tanginoa also join the side on the interchange.
