Andy Carroll
Andy Carroll had one great half season in the Premier League for promoted Newcastle United in 2010-11, scoring 11 times in 19 appearances.
That caught the attention of then Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish, who coughed up an astonishing £35 million for the colossal Magpies striker, paying him the cool sum of £90,000 per week.
He scored nine Premier League goals in 44 appearances for the Anfield side, before transferring to West Ham United – at a massive loss – for £16 million.
