San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has endured controversy throughout the offseason and season for various reasons, but this time he has been fined for what is most arguably an unfair reason.
The 49ers quarterback has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for wearing Beats by Dre headphones, which are not the the designated league headphones.
In the NFL, players are supposed to wear Bose headphones, which struck a deal with the league. Kaepernick was wearing pink Beats by Dre headphones to show his support for breast cancer awareness.
