Eden Hazard, Chelsea
With only one Blues player on the shortlist if Jose Mourinho’s men were to win the title then it would perhaps seem unfair if their best player wasn’t crowned the winner.
Not that Hazard would triumph on anything other than credit either, as having been nominated for this award 12 months ago the attacking midfielder has improved even more in the last year.
With 14 league goals and seven assists this term the 23-year-old is the west London club’s top-scorer and has been billed by Mourinho as a future Ballon d’Or winner.
Likeliness of winning: 6/10.
