Reports in the Evening Standard claim that the Poland international has grown frustrated with life at the Emirates, having not made a first team appearance in the league since the 2-2 draw with Leicester on New Year’s Day – after which he was famously reprimanded for smoking in the showers.
And with his place with the Gunners increasingly uncertain, he has now begun to fear for his spot with the Polish national side, too.
Wenger has said to be happy with the 24-year-old’s attitude to being out of the picture, and will hold talks with the beleaguered custodian when the current campaign draws to a close.
