The World Cup this summer will be a chance for a number of brilliant young players to shine, displaying their unbelievable footballing talent on the game’s biggest stage.
Here’s a pretty impressive XI of the best youngsters to look out for…
GK) Thibaut Courtois – Belgium
Easily the best young keeper in the world, Courtois is owned by Chelsea, but has just won La Liga with Atletico Madrid, and could add the Champions League to his growing medal collection if his temporary club beat Real Madrid on Saturday. He’ll start for Belgium at the World Cup, with Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet on the bench.
DR) Serge Aurier – Ivory Coast
The barnstorming right-back starts for his African nation, and looks like he could complete a move to Arsenal this summer to replace the ageing and departing Bacary Sagna.
