For over a year The Authority has done everything in its power to make Seth Rollins a star. But do they still consider him “best for business”?

WWE Elimination Chamber preview and prediction: Kevin Owens makes his WWE debut against John Cena
“The Architect” Seth Rollins has been invulnerable ever since he betrayed his Shield team members Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to join Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in The Authority. Rollins’ ascension has been incredible, winning Money in the Bank, captaining Team Authority at Survivor Series and, most notably, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania XXXI by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to beat Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
But after month after month of Rollins failing to develop his own moveset and beat the WWE’s top talent on his own, it looks like The Authority is starting to tire of The Architect and all indications – be it Kane’s presence in the MITB Ladder Match, J&J Security leaving him, and so on – are that The Authority is ready to make a clean break with their chosen man. And the definition of a clean break in WWE is to betray them in the worst possible way.
The question that might be asked at the end of Money in the Bank is, who has The Authority chosen to be their new representative in the ring?
Here are the previews and predictions for the Money in the Bank matches:
1. R-Truth vs. King Barrett in pre-show Singles Match
The two stars have been the equivalent of jobbers lately as even a King of the Ring victory did nothing to boost Barrett’s in-ring appeal. R-Truth just seems to be sticking around because people find him funny.
Prediction: Barrett wins.
