5. John Cenavs. Kevin Owens in Singles Match
A few weeks ago Kevin Owens shocked the world by beating John Cena cleanly, a task that only a few superstars in the last 10 years have been able to pull off. Owens is clearly poised to take the WWE by storm but John Cena almost never loses against the same superstar twice. Nonetheless, since November Cena has clearly had his importance in WWE diminished and now that he’s fighting as United States Champion he is fading more and more into the background – which may be a good thing in the long run.
As for Owens, this may be one of the most important weeks of his career – with a fight against Cena tonight and a brawl with Samoa Joe on NXT later this week, wins for Owens could elevate him to the WWE roster as a full-time competitor almost immediately.
Prediction: John Cena wins. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on Cena.
6. Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton vs. Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus vs. Neville vs. Kofi Kingston in Money in the Bank Ladder Match for WWE World Heavyweight Championship contract
One of the most fun matches in WWE, the Money in the Bank Ladder Match always includes some high-flying assaults, creative ladder uses, bodies dropping everywhere and of course betrayals.
The majority of Money in the Bank contract winners have been heel, which means either Kane or Sheamus should be the favorites to win the match – or the winner will turn heel at a later date, which would add the Reigns to the equation if WWE wants to go in that direction if the future.
We can immediately eliminate Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler and Neville from the equation of possible winners since they are really only there to put on a high-flying spectacle
Prediction: Kane wins Money in the Bank contract. The Authority ensures that the WWE World Heavy Championship eventually comes back to them as they utilize J&J Security to clinch the win for their Corporate Demon.
