2. Ryback vs. Bray Wyatt in a Singles Match
Ryback and Bray Wyatt are two men with all of the talent in the world but the company can’t seem to figure out what to do with them. They’re both far too talented and beloved by the WWE universe to relegate to the undercard, but at the same time just don’t have that championship quality that guys like Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and even Roman Reigns have.
This currently rivalry between the two B+ WWE superstars has the makings of the kind of physical matchup that fans always want to see, but will ultimately fade into the background behind the higher matches on the card. But what a slobber-knocker this one should be!
Prediction: Bray Wyatt wins – If WWE wants to retain Wyatt’s credibility as one of the most dangerous superstars on the roster, they won’t let Wyatt lose his first match since Wrestlemania XXXI against The Undertaker. However, that could go out the window if it leads to some kind of malicious team-up between Wyatt and Ryback that could threaten the tag team division or even perhaps The Authority.
3. King Barrett vs. Neville in a Singles Match
Two more talented superstars that WWE can’t seem to figure out what do to with, Neville is seeking to make a big impact in WWE since his debut while Barrett is trying to recreate himself since losing the Intercontinental Championship.
The two British fighters have contrasting fighting styles, with Neville’s high-flying acrobatics and Barrett’s brute force, but Neville is quickly becoming a serious fan-favorite while Barrett still can’t seem to win over fans since abandoning his “Bad News” persona. Whoever wins this match though could very easily be considered the favorite to win in the Elimination Chamber in two weeks for the vacant Intercontinental Championship.
Prediction: Neville wins – After being on the losing end of multiple fights with WWE’s top superstars, it might be time for the world to see what he’s made of and for him to become a serious contender for the two minor singles titles. Some high-flying action from Neville should keep Barrett off-balance for most of the match and ultimately result in a sneaky win.
