Former City defender pokes fun at Toure over birthday controversy.
Former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has trolled his old team-mate Yaya Toure over his recent infamous controversy surrounding his birthday celebrations at the club, or a lack thereof.
The Ivory Coast star was allegedly ready to leave the club earlier this summer because they didn’t make a big enough deal of his birthday, and Lescott has now joked via his official Twitter account that he could leave his new club West Bromwich Albion if they don’t get a cake for him on his bithday.
.@WBAFCofficial thank you but if I don’t get a cake I’m leaving. Lol #Joking
