PSG to offer star right-back in exchange for Man United flop Angel di Maria
Ibrahimovic turned down an offer to play for AC Milan, and he will play out the remaining year on his PSG contract.
It seems logical for the Sweden international to stay in PSG since he just helped lead them to a Ligue 1 championship after they led the table with 83 points to beat out Lyon and Monaco. They also went on to win the Coupe de France final on Saturday.
The 33-year-old led PSG in goals this season with 17 in 24 games, and AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi expressed his interest in bringing in the striker.
However, it would not make much sense for Ibrahimovic to go to AC Milan, even if they were to hire Carlo Ancelotti as their new head coach.
AC Milan finished in 10th place in the Serie A standings this season, and they will not be able to reel in their former player, who spent two seasons with them before going to PSG.
