The Hungarian Grand Prix has been part of the Formula One World Championship since 1986. It was the first Grand Prix to take place behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. The Hungaroring has hosted the Hungarian Grand Prix every year since. It’s a twisty, difficult track that’s popular with drivers and fans alike. 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix Summary

Lando Norris started on pole position but lost the lead to his teammate, Oscar Piastri, at the start of the race. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen were battling on track until they two collided, but no penalty was handed out. Norris adopted the lead after a successful undercut on his teammate, but team orders requested that he swap positions with Piastri to give him his maiden win. Hamilton finished P3 and claimed his 200th career podium.
